World population in 28 April 1999: 5.975.564.861
World population 28 April 2005: 6.516.898.695
This implies that in 6 years the world population has been increased by more than 541 million people! (Internet: World Population Information)
Appendix 2: Three examples of coincidence (?) with the collapse of the World Trade Towers on September 11th 2001
Example 1:
In my article of 1999 I wrote:
In
a special report in the Scientific American of December 1997 (Pelli) "Building
the Biggest" a photo of world's tallest building in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) was
given. The pinnacles of the 88- story structures reach 451.9 meters. In 2003
they will erect a skyscraper of 106-story 508 meters high In Taipei, Taiwan!
"The
urge to build as high as possible appears to be a common trait of human
cultures. From the Great Pyramid of Cheops to the Tower of Babel; towers that
reached towards heaven".
The
comparison with the Tower of Babel is very illustrative. In Genesis 11:4,8
"And
they said, Go to, let us make a city and tower, whose top may reach unto heaven
(…) So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the
earth: and they left off to build the city".
The
arrogance of human mankind to govern this planet Earth, without having any
respect for Nature, to pollute, to deplete in order to build "towers" that must
reach the sky. In order to survive we have to leave these "towers" and scatter
over the earth!

Example 2:

The Headline: "Seeing the Earth for Its Faults" has a double meaning. I don't think that the editors had in mind with this text the collapse of the Twin Towers !?
Example 3:
In a Dutch Newspaper a financial and fiscal company Loyens and Loeff published Saturday 8th of September 2001 the following advertisement:

On the photograph we see at the location of the Twin Towers three thick books: Left upside : "Belasting Wetten"(Dutch Fiscal Laws); Right upside : "Burgerlijk Wetboek" (Dutch Cival Laws); Under the two books " van Dale Groot Woordenboek der Nederlandse Taal" ( Dictionary of the Netherlands language).
Did the advertising company had a brainwave in seeing three days ahead in replacing the twin towers with books?
I could not realize that my publication in April 1999: "WHERE IS OUR PLANET EARTH HEADING TO IN THE NEXT CENTURY" was more than reality six years later!
